Poetry in Motion

These socks were so cute to knit, but have come out a little snug (can anyone say 'guesstimation'??) But they stay on a lot longer than most of her cotton socks (bless 'em), so I'd say they're at least a top 3 place in the race to keep Miss V's tootsies warm.

Yarn: Cleckheaton Merino Bambino, col. 2153 (variegated pastels), 1 50gm ball (some left over)
Needles: 2.75mm (I think) wooden dpns (not sure what, doesn't say on the label)
Pattern: Garter Rib socks from Sensational Knitted Socks, Charlene Schurch, 32 stitches
Variations: Like I remember two weeks later???
Lessons learned: gauge is important even for baby toddler socks (duh); standard pointy toe doesn't work very well for baby toddler socks.

Hey! Googling found a SKS KAL! Must join that!!

Next up on the sockfront: Plumberries, again for MissV. The other two just have to wait and freeze :)
