The washing machine is making a distressing and distressed screaming noise - DH has diagnosed the death of a (?ball) bearing as the cause. A friend recommended these people - but wait! A van in the driveway! And it is precisely mid-morning, which is when they said they would arrive!!!
The news - yes, motor bearings are the cause (whatever they may be)
Good news - he has a replacement motor in the van and is replacing right now!!
Don't you just love fabulous advice from those who've gone down this road before? (the friend tried 3 or 4 before this mob got it right)
