I like being Australian.
I like the country and the lifestyle and the freedoms we enjoy. I like the security of our health and welfare systems. I like the beautiful food and the care for the environment. I like the opportunities we have to help ourselves and others.
We still have our share of social problems and natural disasters, but we don't have civil unrest or widespread poverty or military dictators.
Overall, we're doing pretty well.
