A new Olympic Family Event

Asynchronous Paired Screaming.

Paired competitors perform a routine demonstrating a carefully choreographed sequence of volume variations, changes in pitch and tone, dramatic and emotive shrieking, sobbing and/or hysterical overtones.
Bonus points may be achieved by one of the pair choosing to hold a baseline air-raid siren style of monotonous, repetitive wailing as counterpoint to a more exotic display by the other partner.

Winners are the ones who get closed to cracking their parents.

Edited To Add: I'm loving other people's interpretations!! But I also have to say that my girls weren't winners this time - I laughed quietly to myself in the kitchen, grabbed a glass of red, and went off to check my emails :>
