Pins and Knees...

I've spent the last hour and a half pinning dress pattern pieces to cheap satin, and now not-quite-as-cheap organza.

On the floor.

On my knees.

I even vacuumed before dinner, to eliminate the worst of the cake crumbs and mud specks.
Tomorrow I will start sewing.

Greater love hath no mother than to put aside her weekend knitting time in order to make an organza-over-satin princess dress for her DD just because the DD asked her nicely.

(But all is not lost - I did knit at hockey this morning, and on while talking to my Mum on the phone this afternoon - 3 repeats done on monkey leg #2!!)
